Prime Minister Paul Martin - They will be missed. They will be remembered. And we will be forever grateful
Please take a moment to remember the veterans who fought for our country this Remembrance Day. During the Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa, another sad fact:
CBC News - [...] For the first time, there were no First World War veterans in attendance. The last of those veterans from the Ottawa area died earlier this year at the age of 104.
There are only five veterans still alive from WWI in Canada.
Their average age is 105.
